Inventory Floor Controller
Do you have an incredible attention to detail and enjoy math, organization and working as a team? If so, we’ve got the job for you! The Vermont Teddy Bear Company and its sister companies, PajamaGram and Calyx & Corolla, is seeking an Inventory Floor Controller. This position is responsible for all inventory movement from warehouse to order fulfillment lines. Will participate in inventory-related functions (cycle counts, bulk packing, returns processing) and work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be forklift-certified or eligible to become so. The ideal candidate will have solid math and computer skills. Background in Warehouse or Inventory work a plus, but not required.

Lead Packing Specialist – Bear Gram
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company has been delivering the best bears to satisfied customers for over 25 years – and now we need your help! We are seeking a Lead Packing Specialist to help monitor outgoing order flow through packing and quality control while constantly looking for ways to improve workflow and increase efficiencies. Answer questions and lead by example while motivating a small core and very large seasonal staff. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who desires to learn about projections, workflow and quality. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed during our peak seasons. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in a fulfillment or production environment, attention to detail, strong leadership and communication skills and will be computer literate.

Sample Evaluator & Product Safety Coordinator
Are you a stickler for detail? Have you ever said, “That’s just not good enough!”? If so, you may be exactly who we’re looking for!
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is seeking a Sample Evaluator and Product Safety Coordinator. In addition to measuring, testing and evaluating product samples for quality, accuracy in sizing and durability, this person will be responsible for self-educating about product safety requirements and coordinating product safety testing. Make recommendations about potential products’ quality, durability and appropriateness for sale and have an impact on what we present to the public for sale.
Ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, firm understanding of measurement and basic mathematics, ability to work independently and have a good knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of garment construction a plus!

Advertising Director
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company, a nationally recognized brand in the gift space, is seeking an Advertising Director to help grow our business by acquiring new customers; driving qualified traffic to the company's call center and consumer websites (VermontTeddyBear.com, PajamaGram.com, CalyxFlowers.com). Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing direct response advertising campaigns in accordance with the company's strategic initiatives, which include short term ROI . The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience in traditional media such as radio, television and print as well as extensive experience managing online display advertising, affiliate and CPC strategies. An understanding of how companies can profitably use social networking, blogging and other innovative approaches to acquire customers is a definite plus.
The successful candidate must be assertive, creative, and resourceful and must enjoy working in a highly entrepreneurial, dynamic environment. You will need to bring new, innovative ideas to a company that likes to do things differently - aka "the Teddy Bear way", as part of a tremendous team who is charged with delivering superior results.

Product Design Manager
This position will manage in house and freelance designers in completion of product designs for all brands to include product, packaging, artwork applications and body styles. Working with PD/Merch Director will set priorities and assure there is adequate talent and resources for completion of all work in a timely fashion. Working with Merchandising groups for all brands will present trend and market info for setting some of our overall direction as well as offering feedback on current and proposed styles. Will manage all product development direction to assure we hit target pricing, meet any legal product requirements and that we are constantly improving our product quality.
The ideal candidate must be highly creative, enjoy working in an open, creative environment and have the ability to manage multiple brands and projects at one time while still rallying a team of creative individuals. Must have a proven track record of identifying and manipulating market trend info for inclusion into Merchandising stories and assuring that it stays within brand.
Must have degree in product design, three to five years experience managing creative individuals and varied product design projects. Must be proficient in product design software – Mac and PC based – with the ability to learn new programs and systems quickly.

Product Designer
Do you love the development process? Are you excited to develop new products, packaging, body styles and prints, evaluate ideas and create prototypes? If so, this position may be for you!
Bearing in mind current trends, cost, margin and existing product line, this position will work with our product development and marketing teams to develop viable new products. Help create production specs, keep to deadlines and communicate effectively with the creative team.
The ideal candidate must have a design degree and or associated work experience. Please be a creative, open-minded thinker willing to work in a collaborative environment with a dedication to create the best!
