You merely let some dry pet food slide all the way to the back of the Kill Chamber and place the Rat Zapper against a wall. When the Rat Zapper detects the presence of a rodent on the Kill Plate, the Power Supply instantly releases electrical energy sufficient to kill the rodent. A red light on top of the Rat Zapper blinks to let you know that you need to empty it out. The Rat Zapper contains no moving parts, so it doesn't wear out.

Customer Testimonials

Feel free to use this as a testimonial. Bought the rat zapper and have had very good results. 1 mouse, 2 moles, and 3 chipmunks. Here are a couple of recommendations. Rayovac 15 minute rechargeable batteries are fantastic. I filled a milk jug cap level with peanut butter and used tongs to put it in the back of the machine (power off). Use the same tongs to remove the dead varmint (power off). I have not had to refill the peanut butter because it kills before they get a bite. No mess--just like they fell asleep. Congrats on a great product.
Greg, Wow! It is SO refreshing to get your timely response in regards to shipping. It seems so rare that any company today pays any attention to customer service especially with an internet order. To be honest, I'm rather shocked. I've built my business around customer service, I know it works, you now have a loyal customer, thank you.
Again, thanks!

Hello Greg Dunn, My father received his 'Rat Zapper' already and is so pleased. This gives him a little project to tend to. You sure got it out quickly to him and I thank you very much! You run a great company and are a good person!

Larry Hagman (yes, the Larry Hagman who played J.R. Ewing in Dallas) Dear Scott, I wanted to thank you for introducing me to the Rat Zapper. Ever since the El Nino rains set in two years ago, the rodent population in the hills surrounding my home has drastically increased. The evidence comes in the form of chewed out wires in our cars and pool equipment electrical wiring. Rats can do a lot of damage. We've spent thousands of dollars on repairs. Also, we are subject to power outages rather frequently here in Ojai, so we have an electrical generator we use from time to time. One time the power went out and the darn rats figured out exactly which wires they needed to gnaw through to cripple our generator, which left us completely in the dark that night! We hated the idea of using poison because of the other pets and animals that live in the hills surrounding our home. We purchased some "industrial strength" ultrasound devices to keep the rodents away from the cars, but they had no effect on the rodent population. When we heard about the Rat Zapper and you described the technology, we were impressed, but skeptical. We wondered why nobody had come up with anything like this before if it was such a good idea. Well, the proof was in the pudding. The Rat Zappers eliminated dozens of mice and rats in the first 30 days. Our grounds' crew also used the remote monitoring system with monitor panel and radio transmitters to ensure that the Rat Zappers they placed around our home were emptied in a timely manner. Since we received our Rat Zappers, we have had no more black outs and no more car wiring repairs due to rodents. We are going to continue to use the Rat Zappers to keep a check on the rodent population. Thank you for finally coming up with the better mouse trap.
Sincerely,
Larry Hagman

Forty-two! rats Subject: The large old Rat Zappers! Hi Guys, I have to say how very much we love these Rat Zappers! The first one we used in an old tool room to get some huge rats. We set it up the first night and before we could get out the door it started blinking. We thought we must have set it incorrectly, but when we went back in a huge Grand-daddy rat was dead inside. We reset it and the next morning we found another one. We kept setting it and over a period of two weeks we trapped and killed 42 (forty-two!) rats that gradually got smaller in size till we wiped out the whole bunch of them. Gentlepeople, you have built the "better mouse-trap." Now the world will beat a path to your door. This could be a great wedding or house warming gift. They would never need to buy another mouse trap.
Happily,

Subject: Testimonial I had my doubts, but... I purchased my rat zapper a couple of months back. I tried everything to get them to go in. Finally, I just left the rat zapper in place, but turned it off for about three weeks. Then, this week I primed it again with kibble and zap!! I've bagged one a day for the last four days!! It does work. Clean up is easy. No muss, no fuss. I'm a happy camper.
Thanks-

Four Nights, Seven Rats Subject: Help...! Help! I'm out of rats! Four nights, SEVEN rats... All this with one RAT ZAPPER... I'm a happy customer... We had been plagued with rats in the attic, off and on, for years. I never had any success with spring traps. It's so easy to eliminate 'em with the Rat Zapper that I almost feel guilty.

Iams Cat Food When my wife brought home the rat zapper, I thought, well, you know what they say about a better mouse trap... I was skeptical to say the least. I tried the zapper with the bait that it came with, and after a couple of days I caught a rat. Now, when I say I had a rat problem, I did not have any idea how many of the little buggers were in my garage. So, I baited the trap with Iams cat food (the one for older cats) and I am getting a rat every fifteen to thirty minutes and when I empty the trap the rats are standing in line to eat: they really love this cat food. So far, I have gotten 12 rats in the last two evenings and am still going strong. And all of this is just setting the zapper on a shelf in the garage; it is right there in the open. You can edit this and use it in your testimonials if you like. Well, gotta go, time to empty and refill the zapper.

Tips for Tricky Rats and Squirrels When dealing with rats (as opposed to mice), always be sure to let them take a few free meals before you ever turn the Rat Zapper on. Rats are exceptionally wary of new objects in their environment. We recommend using about twenty pieces of the dry pet food that we provide with each Rat Zapper. Place the twenty pieces all the way in the back of the Kill Chamber and then place a few pieces completely out in front. When all twenty pieces disappear (this may take several nights) from the back of the Kill Chamber, you can re-bait and turn the Rat Zapper on. We call this technique "pre-baiting" or "conditioning." Pre-baiting is sort of like Russian Roulette for rodents. They never know which visit will be the last visit. This technique is also great for larger rodents like squirrels. You may need to use this technique periodically to ensure the highest effectiveness of the Rat Zapper. Remember, the rodents are in this for survival, so this is a battle of wits and we are here to help you win.
