padSoundgate AUXTOY1V3 1998-2008 Toyota/Scion Acura/Honda/Isuzu/ Auxiliary Input Converter

The Soundgate AUXTOY1V3 Auxiliary Input Converter is compatible with many 1998-2008 Acura, Honda, Isuzu, Scion and Toyota vehicles (see specific application list below). It connects to the 12-pin connector at the rear of your factory radio to create an external auxiliary input that has a pair of left and right RCA audio inputs.

With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.

Comes complete with all cable and connectors to conect to your vehicle. See additional add-on items below for any cables or connector you might need to connect the audio device to the RCA-type connectors on the AUXTOY1V3 interface.

Important Application Note: The AUXTOY1V3 can be used in conjunction with the TOYPD2 iPOD interface, and/or the LEXTOYSIR2 Sirius tuner interface provided the 'Specific Vehicle Application List' for each product lists the vehicle the devices are to be installed in. It is possible to connect all three device in the same vehicle provided the vehicle is listed on each product.

Additional Add-on Items:

  • Convert the single auxiliary input of this device into three auxiliary inputs by adding the AUX3.
  • Add a Zune™ interface to this auxiliary input by adding the ZNCBLPAK Soundgate CORE™ Cable pack.
  • Add an iPOD® interface to this auxiliary input by adding either the Uni-POD or the UII Universal iPOD Interface.
  • Convert the RCA inputs on this device to a 3.5mm input by adding the PIE 3.5-RCA6MM Interface.

    Compatibility Information:

  • Plugs into the rear of the factory radio
  • Your vehicle MUST be equipped with a radio that has CD changer controls
