This store is a retail business where donated construction-related items are sold to the public - for pennies on the dollar. In addition they have joined forces with the Houston Furniture Bank offering quality Furniture and accessories. The income generated from this store will enable Houston Habitat to defray operating costs associated with running the office and its programs. Habitat's House sponsorship only covers construction of a specific house, not operating overhead. The store will provide tangible benefits to the low-income community and to donor companies who might otherwise dispose of unwanted construction materials in nearby landfills. the Habitat Building Supply Outlet, Inc. will provide Houstonians a way to bless our community, while allowing us to develop the infrastructure needed to be able to help more local families in need.
