These events are open to anyone interested in donating their time and talent to support the Boise Philharmonic. Office Volunteers There are several ways to volunteer in the Boise Philharmonic office. Our team of office volunteers provide important administrative support by coordinating event mailings, filing important documents, database management, answering phones and other tasks to ensure the success of our events in addition to keeping the BPA office running smoothly. Website Volunteers We are always in need of computer savvy volunteers to help maintain our website. Poster Voluteers This committee of volunteers is responsible for hanging our promotional posters up around the Treasure Valley. Sounds Like Fun! Volunteers These volunteers provide support to the Sounds Like Fun! concerts through cashiering and handing out programs. Ambassadors It all starts with building passionate connections. That’s what makes life beautiful. With music, a gentle melody or a mysterious movement creates endless conversation. It’s exciting to explore the ardor and wonder of the Mozart Requiem. Or the forceful knock of fate in the Beethoven No. 5. Join our Ambassadors in engaging with others about the emotionally revealing and enlightening faces of music. Special Events Volunteers This volunteer committee provides support to our events such as the Chef & Gourmet Gala, Philharmonsters, Backstage with the Artists and many more! Treasure Valley Youth Symphony Volunteers This volunteer committee provides usher and cashier support at the TVYS concerts as well as the Musical Movies Project Debs & Phils Our well-loved Debs and Phils support many functions of the Philharmonic by volunteering at Philharmonic concerts (you will recognize them in tuxedo gear at the Morrison Center), assisting before concerts with programs and organization, and helping decorate for many of our special concerts like the Halloween Philharmonsters concert for kids. They also maintain their own newsletter, elect their own officers, and raise funds with an annual dinner and other activities. Join this service group for young people and be a part of the future of music in the Treasure Valley. Ages 13-18. Just a note: Most of the above volunteer opportunites are monthly events, which you can do regularly or according to your availability. Other less frequently occurring events such as the Children's Concerts or Musical Movies are in larger venues where we will need more help, so don't be shy! we appreciate all of the time that you are able to give to these worthy events.
