Although not a stock certificate, we thought our customers would find this item of interest. It is North Carolina 1761 Colonial currency, dated April 23, 1761. RARE. (How many pieces of currency have you seen from the US with a date earlier than this?) Only 2720 were isued with this denomination. The signatures and serial number are not visible.Only fair to good condition with pinholes, edge splits, internal splits, and tape on the back, but in spite of that, the printing is fairly bold and the borders are decent. A great buy for the earliest American financial document we've ever offered. |
