AEC-6885M is a 64bit/66MHz PCI-to-IDE controller for Macintosh with transfer rate reaching 533MB/s. It has 4 independent IDE channels and supports true hardware RAID 0, 1, 0+1, and normal mode. The 48-bit LBA (Logical Block Addressing) technology makes it good for big hard drive over 137GB. RAID Utility provides you a GUI tool to easily manage the RAID subsystem.
